Ariv stands for quickly and flexibly available accommodation with the privacy of your own flat and the amenities of a hotel, paired with an active community. The co-living can be booked for one night, one month or even for a longer stay. Ariv Basel is located in Stücki Park, the region's leading life sciences centre. It offers a wide range of restaurants, shops and leisure facilities such as a gym, a cinema or a bowling centre.
Sustainabilty at Ariv
The PV system installed on the roof covers up to 80 % of the electricity demand. A mobility offer is available for the overnight guests, which includes bicycles, e-bikes or electric vehicles. At the end of 2022, the entire Stücki Park site was certified with BREEAM In-Use. BREEAM certification (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is a method for assessing sustainability. It is used to certify projects, infrastructures and buildings. Launched in 1990 by the Building Research Establishment (BRE), it sets benchmarks for the environmental characteristics of buildings through the design, specification, construction and operation phases. In addition, it has been certified with SNBS 2.0. SNBS ensures that the needs of society, the economy and the environment are taken into account as comprehensively as possible in the design, construction and operation of the building and requires a holistic view of the building's life cycle.
